Hi! Happy friday!

It’s finally weekend.. after what felt like such a long week.

So as I relaxed on my sofa after getting home, I scrolled through my IG and saw this beautiful post by Lifeteen. (@lifeteen)

I honestly loved it! It reminded me of where my focus should go back to especially on these stressful/hard times. So I decided to share this with you all.. because if it gave me feels and urged me to come back to Him, I pray that it will do to you as well. 🙂

So here it is:

“At the beginning of any journey you identify something as good and decide to pursue it. You see the top of the mountain as good, rich with scenic views (and, let’s be honest, IG opps), and an incredible payoff after a long hike. You spend an extended amount of time navigating terrain you, your legs and your feet aren’t used to, all for the sake of attaining the satisfaction you see at the peak. You risk falling, sore limbs, dirty ankles, because you know the experience and what’s waiting for you at the top is worth it. You see a good and do what you need to do to attain it, regardless of what challenges you might encounter.

This is fortitude and this is what you’re capable of as a human being. You have the ability to determine what is good, what is worth pursuing, and you have what it takes to passionately pursue those things. You can recognize that a life of virtue, lived in a relationship with Jesus is truly good and, despite any challenges you can expect on that journey, you still know it’s worth it… so you continue to pursue.

Entering more deeply into Lent, reflect on the challenges you’re encountering in pursuing the goodness of a life of virtue and holiness during this season. Invite Jesus into those challenges. He longs to dwell with you there. And journeying forward, ever closer to Him, with fortitude, we can trust when He says to us, “in the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.” – John 16:33. #FridayVirtue #Lent “

Some short-term goals

Welcome March! 🤗

Why not kick off this month by setting some short-term goals for ourselves?! Whether old or new goals, at whatever age, let’s plan them and achieve them! 🙂

I would admit though, it’s kind of scary to share goals in public because there would be so much more pressure, but let’s try it. They say that if you share your goals to someone, your motivation to really achieve them will increase. This is like having an accountable person for your goals.

So share your list with me and I’ll share mine.. yes? Yes. Okay. So here is my list: (Draft only but it will do)

1. To complete the 2 special projects I’m working on at work. — 1 completed!

2. To curate my own playlist at Spotify.

3. To be on cycle both at my work and school and keep it there. — so far, so good! 🙂

4. To have enough sleeps and at least 1 day of exercise per week.

5. To finally cook the spicy sardines pasta. — achieved!

6. To finish a book!! (It’s been such a long time since I finish a book!)

7. Meet new people. — achieved!

8. Stick to my budget plan. — achieved!

9. Try new foods/restaurants and post. — achieved!

10. Pray more. Spend some time for reflection and meditation. — ongoing 🙂
